This is the 6th book in the “Texas Cattleman’s Club Fathers And Son Series” and we have up front and center Colt and Sierra. Joanna Rock has another on her hands. I so love how she held my interest in this love romance mystery. This is a fast paced easy quick read, action packed, pager turner, sizzling romance, great hero and heroine making this a great addition to the series. Sierra is a reporter and she has found out the secret of who Micah’s father is. Colt is a rancher and away aboard learning the business of wine making; he is fulfilling his grandfather’s dream. Sierra has left several messages for Colt and the one that catches his eye is the one stating that he is a father. Colt makes his way back to the states and meets the son he knew nothing about. He and Micah’s mother had a brief affair and he left not knowing that she was pregnant. Colt and Sierra are very much attracted to each other and they are fighting their attraction but it is a losing battle. Sierra has a secret of her own that she has been keeping. Colt asked Sierra to move into his home to help out with baby Micah since she is a familiar face but he informs her that as soon as he and Micah get to know each better he is leaving town. That bit of information does not make Sierra happy since she is falling hard for the rancher. Can Sierra convince Colt to stay in town and give the three of a chance at love and being a family, how will Colt react when he finds out about Sierra’s secret, will he forge ahead or they go their separate ways? You will not want miss this last addition to the “Texas Cattleman’s Club”, so pick up your copy today. I received an ARC via Booksprout and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Sierra really had to dig deep to find the connection to Colt and orphaned Micah’s deceased mother Arielle especially since she didn’t list him on the birth certificate nor write about him in her diary. But as soon as he saw Micah Colt knew he was a father. Still he has no experience with babies and Micah doesn’t know him, so he enlists Sierra’s temporary help. Despite the way she connected them, I would have thought Colt would be more suspicious of her. He knew she was a reporter investigating to write a book yet he’s surprised when she admits to searching his property. Sierra seems insecure because she can’t have children and I think part of that caused her to push Colt away and not just that he was moving to France.
