Nat and Hudson’s story in Operation Valentine by Sarah Fischer and Kelsey McKnight, book one in their Hazel Oaks Resort series, was a wonderful, sweet, enjoyable tale of two people who possibly have different life goals. Nat Keller loved her job at Hazel Oaks Resort in upstate New York; a place she worked at her entire adult life. As the resort’s Head Concierge she was able to use the organizational skills she learned as a child who moved constantly, being part of a military family. When she is asked to help a married couple rekindle their romance, she’s thrilled to prove herself; at least until she learns she will be working with a partner. Hudson Dougal, lead adventure coordinator for the resort, never stayed in one place for very long. After working at the resort for a year he was contemplating where he could go next when he’s asked to worked with Nat on a special project. Nat was the only woman who appeared to be immune to his charm, flirting, and jokes. Always up for a challenge, he readily agrees; coming up with some really good ideas and suggestions. Working together Hudson sees beneath the façade that Nat puts on, covering up the person underneath the organized, unbending, stick-in-the mud, she showed her work colleagues and the world. Nat begins to understand Hudson better, seeing that he needed a place where he truly fit in along with the need to be outdoors and physical. Maybe, Hudson didn’t need to move so much as he needed a place or someone he could come home to. The more time they spend together they find themselves not only helping a stale and stalled marriage but they too shared a magnetic attraction, and chemistry. Nat and Hudson deserved to find an everlasting love that could lead to a future together. Ms. Fischer and Ms. McKnight wrote a wonderful filled with sizzling chemistry, magnetism, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters giving Nat and Hudson a chance to overcome past impressions, realize that they are perfect for each, and deserve to be together. I highly recommend Operation Valentine to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

A sweet romance of co-workers, Nat and Hunter are polar opposites but soon can't deny the chemistry that they share. They both work at Hazel Oaks Resort, and are put together to rekindle a relationship of the owner's best friends. This is the first book in the series, it's set around Valentine's Day, so the perfect read right now. Plenty of warm fuzzies. Two romances in one story! I'm looking forward to reading more from this resort.

The start of this new series takes us to upstate New York’s Hazel Oaks Resort . Nat Keller and Hudson Dougal both work at the resort. Super organized Nat, loves her work as Head Concierge and sees a future at the resort. Charming Hudson is the Lead Adventure Coordinator in the resort. A man that stays no more than a year or two in the same job and to Nat, seems unorganized and footloose. When the owner of the resort recruits them for a special mission, sparks fly between Hudson and Nat and not always in a good way. Can these two seemingly opposites work together to create the perfect romantic vacation for this couple? As they work together and Hudson starts wandering if maybe he has a future where he is , an offer that could change everything comes up. Will each go their separate way, or will they find their HEA? I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
