You're Still the One

Loved! Loved! Loved! A beautiful love story between two characters that are both so yummy you just want to hug them close and never let go. Arabella seems to have everything but what she yearns for is a little independence and that feeling of accomplishment you get when you've done something all on your own. Oh yeah, and maybe just be a little wild for once in her life. She has a summer "bucket list" and she plans on checking off every item. To start things off right - grab a kiss from her teenage crush, country musics own Charlie Tucker. Charlie Tucker has had women want to do a lot of things with him but kiss and run isn't one of them. Until now! When the woman who just gave him a mind blowing kiss bolts from the restaurant he can't believe it. Neither can he believe it when he finds out she happens to be the daughter of the man who is essentially his boss and has asked Charlie to keep an eye on her this summer. This is a truly fun read and one you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

"You're Still the One" by Rachel Harris is book one in the "Country Blues" series. This is Arabella "Bella" Stone and Blue bassist Charlie Tucker's story, Arabella wants to accomplish things without her father's help. She has a bucket list of things that she wants to accomplish. Arabella has always had a crush on Charlie. The first thing she wants to check off her bucket list is to kiss Charlie. Charlie is used to women flirting with him. But he has never had one kiss him and then run off. Wait until Charlie finds out who she really is. Arabella's father is the CEO of Charlie's label so she is off limits to him. Charlie and Arabella end up working together on a project for the summer. Wait until you find out how they end up working together for the summer. The chemistry between them was intense. They tried really hard to ignore it, but plans don't always work out. I loved how they became friends first and their relationship developed over time. The intimate scenes were sensual, even though the scenes faded to black. This is a really sweet story. Both Charlie and Arabella had things that they needed to work out in their life so they could truly be themselves. I look forward to reading other books by Rachel Harris. Coming across a character that is not easy to read is a welcome surprise. Arabella fit that description perfectly. Like a kid in a candy store, once uncorked she wanted to experience everything in her path. Charlie was her opposite. Where Arabella usually lived a restrictive existence, Charlie was used to breaking the rules. I received an ARC of You're Still The One by Rachel Harris in exchange for an honest review. Rachel Harris created a cheeky story that has a great deal of charm. Funny that Arabella had a secret addiction to trouble but it took so long for her to let it out. Charlie wanted to be seen as more than his rebellious rep and Arabella wanted to explore her hidden bad girl. You're Still the One is a wonderful blend of amusing and sexy. Great beginning to the Country Blues series.
