I read this a long time ago and it was more vanilla than I remember. BDSM information is more accessible now so this would not be a shocking book now. Still better than 50 Shades and good for someone who wants BDSM lite. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Julia goes to her friend's wedding, coloring ceremony and though shocked by what she sees finds herself attracted to Master Marcus, a Dom that keeps her from disrupting the ceremony. They are intrigued and attracted to each other and begin a slow dance to act on these attractions. Both Julia and Marcus are well written, interesting characters with depth and passion. Julia attends her friends BDSM wedding, not realizing it will completely change her life. Marcus has been in the lifestyle for years, and has been burned before. When he stops Julia from interrupting the wedding, he takes this neophyte on a journey that changes them both. I enjoyed this romantic and respectful story, especially the ending when both Marcus and Julia make penance for their relationship mistakes. A classic Sierra Cartwright story, one that’s only getting better with age.
