🔴REVIEW🔴 FLYY GIRL BY: OMAR TYREE "YES, I'M A 32 YEAR OLD BLACK WOMAN AND I HAVE NEVER READ THIS BOOK" My #1 question before starting this book was "was I going to get the wow factor?" Because this book was very popular when I was 15, now I'm 32. Did this book entertainment me like it would have if I was 15......? The answer is NO it did not. It was VERY predictable!!! I feel like if I would have read it when I was 15 it would have given me that heart pounding feeling and that OMG feeling. I found myself half way thru the book wanting to grab my belt and go to work on Tracy because I have a 13 year old daughter and I don't know how many times I rolled my eyes at this girl thru the entire book. But what I can say is I was doing the same things Tracy was doing at the same ages(13-16) BUT I WAS NOT HAVING SEX AT ALL. The ending had me feeling really surprised me and I'm happy she got herself together. ⭐⭐⭐ 3 out of 5 stars

im 13 so would know shes living in tha hood && what not but we we have different worlds so its kind of hard to relate but this book was awsum the way he skipped years liek that this is my first"yung adult book" i've read because i wanted to start reading something of my race && stuff so yea if you want to get a feel about what was going on in that era pick up this book i recogmend it=D

This book is great for mature preteens. I read it several times at 15 but I didn't read the se quel until I was in my twenties. The sequel is "For The Love of Money". Both books were great and realistic. My life was not the same at all, but my imagination runs away from me.

Omar Tyree is a New York Times bestselling author, NAACP Image Award winner, and professional journalist from Howard University, who has written fiction and nonfiction, hard news and op-eds, screenplays and stage plays, and many other forms of writing. He is also an excellent lecturer who has been invited to speak at more than eighty American colleges and universities. His present and ongoing goals include the continuation of developing, writing and publishing great literary content, as well as adapting and producing exceptional films, music, and educational events worldwide.
