ROBERT SCHACHTER is a psychologist and an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he teaches stress management and cognitive therapy. He is also the director of Stress Centers of New York and has worked extensively in the area of stress management and motivation.
