Do not be fooled by thinking that this is a copy of Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy. The differences are so slight and you begin to realize Barrett's approach is rather Cabalistic. One thing is missing from these Modern Versions is the Table of Nine and of course the color prints as in the original hard bound book. I have seen that copy and it is a Master Edition.. A friend of mine has this copy which he paid 10.00 Dlls for it. Also be aware there are mistakes in the Table of Seven do to printing of copies. Barrett, the balloonist, was rather an adventurer, but he disappeared from History after a short article appeared in the Old Cornwall Newspaper. I have a reprint of that news article titled "The Magus in Cornwall: an unknown chapter in the life of Francis Barrett, FRC" by James Semmens. A rather comical description of Barrett's Balloonist Adventure. Jurgen
