I found this book so funny, and even though my child is now 30 I can remember what it was like. I got hives before I even left the hospital, he had colic 24/7, every Dr appointment I went to with him I talked about the colic, he told me to stop breastfeeding, I went home and bawled while feeding him a bottle of formula, i went back to breastfeeding right away. At MY 6 week check up he asked me how the medicine for his colic was working and I said "What medicine?" He then prescibed some drops to give him and he slept through the night, until I went out with my husband about 3 weeks later and a neighbor girl watched him. She had to have her grandmother come over because he screamed the whole time. I called the Dr again and he said (as if I should know) why didn't I just increase the amount of drops. Visiting people who want to ooh and aah over your baby are not so excited when he just screams the whole time. But he is one of the most wonderful person in my life and I love him so very much. Thank you for such a funny and up lifting book that relates to mothers of all ages.

I've been a SAHM for 12 years, and no book I've ever read has so accurately described motherhood. I laughed, cried, got frustrated and rejoiced with the characters in the book. I read the entire book in two days. Sure do hope there's a sequel!
