To do that, Steve will need a long relay of horses, and he will have to be almost continuously in the saddle.

A joy! Powerfully written with spirited characters...daring and brave! What a remarkable glimpse of how our old western films were breathed and branded! Glad I read this and at 67 years, about time! ... Yep!

About the author
Louis L’Amour was born Louis Dearborn LaMoore in Jamestown, North Dakota, in 1908. He published his first work at the age of eighteen and went on to write scores of adventure and Western stories, becoming one of the most popular writers of all time. He died in 1988 at his home in Los Angeles.
