Pelican Bay is definitely the place to go if you have trouble. The men are fiercely loyal, protective, possessive, and skilled at saving their chosen woman from chaos and danger. The women are snarky, feisty, welcoming, and understanding. And just a little bit on the crazy side! So, of course, this is the perfect place for Winnie to move after she discovers her ex-boyfriend is a small time criminal and then ends up kidnapped from the vacation she took to get away from said ex. Her rescuer, hot and passionate pineapple farmer Huxley. The former Marine is to whom Winnie turns again when trouble rears its head in the small town. Again! Fun and sexy, fast paced and filled with twist and turn, this an action packed rom com that is sure to grab your attention from the first word and keep you captivated until the end. Happy Reading!! This was an easy read even with some danger thrown in at Winnie. I had a hard time connecting with her though and at times, with Huxley too. I didn't feel the chemistry as much and Winnie frustrated me to no end with her decisions. It is entertaining but not as good as the other books in the series.
