Sci-fi comics are one of my favorite comics. I really liked the idea of what happens to some people that get stuck being in the middle when you die. Tying in history, love and action took some great writing and seems that Nate Wunderman pulled that off. A wonderful first issue. Will get a couple more issues and hope they keep up the storyline and great artwork/coloring

If you like SF and allegorical stories, then this is the series that hits all the right buttons…an anti-hero that may or may not save the world, a select group of people after him that may or may not do the job, and a central figure above them all who may or may not pay anyone. It’s quite interesting to see that adding time travel to the mix might just make common opportunists of us all. Note: The dialogue never stops developing the character, the multiple place/times in the story are rendered accurately and are unequivocal for transporting and informing the reader (for instance the pre-Columbian Mesoamerican scenes have a ollamaliztli ballcourt). Another cool this about this comic series is that it’s multiracial and multicultural…but not in a pandering way…instead it’s in a way that’s incidental and lends agency to the individual characters…it comes across as a natural and necessary part of the story. I would also consider the art and production to be of high quality given the fact that I’ve never heard of this publisher before…but I do now and so should you.
