I really enjoyed this, an interestingly written and quirky story, a really good read and I would definitely recommend it to others. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was that the American football references where lost on me since it doesn't exits in England. Doesn't so the book from being good, just my knowledge of its content

This book is nothing like the film, which i was dissapointed about as SLP, is such a great film.. The story ended very suddenly, when i reached the end i thoughy "where's the rest"... Good book and great insight into mental illness. But the ending ruined it for me.

Incredibly sad, beautiful and meaningful. I cant help but feel at a loss finishing the book, I really wanted Pat a better silver lining, but as the moral of the story shows, thats life!
