RAFFAELE: TAMING HIS TEMPESTUOUS VIRGIN: Harlequin Comics

*spoilers ahead* This story is mostly from the male point of view. He’s the typical, never gonna settle down, rich guy from these books. His father is in the mob but he’s totally removed from all that. He’s forced to marry a woman from a rival mob family. He goes to their country to cancel the engagement and on the way is attacked by there girl and her friend. They think he’s come to take her away. The girl is sheltered by her mob father who has her under constant surveillance and doesn’t want to marry anyone mob related. (So how she snuck out of the house to assault her future husband is anyone’s guess haha) When they officially meet he calls off the wedding as planned and is shocked to see the mob father willing to offer his own daughter to one of his men. The only way to save her is to marry her. Back in New York they slowly fall for each other. She’s still worried about him because he thinks he’s part of the mob. There’s a misunderstanding which causes him to chase after her and give a dramatic confession. All in all not a bad romance.
