The book is well illustrated for easier understanding and will help those who want to learn to fish but have not had the opportunity to practice the sport.

About the author

Jake spent his professional career as an engineer and later member of management of an Aerospace Company. His engineering background provides him the capability to write books that blend the science of fishing with the sport of fishing. As a private pilot and aircraft owner he was able to travel around the USA and Canada gathering information for his many books. Now retired, Jake spends hundreds of hours each year on the water testing his theories and permitting him to present some rather drastic modifications to conventional fishing theory. Jake is a regular lectured at Gander Mountain in Mooresville NC and also a staff writer for ODU magazine. His books are down to earth and easy to read.
