My son and I have sat and read this together, it was lovely to see him so interested in the story. As he asked me what a few words meant I was able to explain and discuss parts of the story as we went. I liked the way the story was told and that the message was realistic and not over the top. Both of us are looking forward to reading the rest of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read a lot of books written by Mary Kelly Reed; she has done a great job at writing a good short Christmas story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
