About this ebook

The thrilling young mystery series from internationally bestselling author John Grisham!

In the small city of Strattenburg, there are many lawyers, and though he’s only thirteen years old, Theo Boone thinks he’s one of them. Theo knows every judge, policeman, court clerk—and a lot about the law. He dreams of being a great trial lawyer, of a life in the courtroom.

But Theo finds himself in court much sooner than expected. Because he knows so much—maybe too much—he is suddenly dragged into the middle of a sensational murder trial. A cold-blooded killer is about to go free, and only Theo knows the truth.

The stakes are high, but Theo won’t stop until justice is served.

Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer is a great book. It has some dry spots, but it is a fun and relatively easy read. There are spots where there were some larger words about law that I didn't know, but with some research, I figured it out and I learned some new vocabulary. This book is great for getting a basic education on courtroom etiquette and some basic law practice information. I also like how Theodore always has family or friends that help him when he doesn't know what to do. They are all willing to help because he is a good kid who is helping multiple people with basic legal problems, and even helping a young girl through her parents divorce. I like how Theodore's peers know that they can go to him for legal advice. They don't make fun of him for it, they appreciate and respect him for being a courtroom genius. Even his law teacher looks to him for advice when he needs it. This book is great if you are seeking a law book with some mystery. I would definitely recommend this book and series to a friend.

this book took a little bit of time to get interested, not much action went on in the first half of the book, but once I got interested I didn't put it down. The author left us with a hangman ending, I will be reading the sequel.

Grisham is by far my favorite author. I've read them all and this one is just as good. the only problem I have with it is that it ends too soon. I would of like a summary of what happened after the final chapter. Still a great summer read.
