Now, you're probably wondering why I am only giving this 3 stars. I purchased this book a while ago, and just got around to reading it a week ago. This book... It doesn't paint the portrayal of Mr. Franta as we all know and love him. We know him as the goofy, lovable, and adorable self he is. And yes, this book somewhat shows life through the perspective of him... Just not the him we know. I personally found he was being mature. When I read this book, it kind of disappointed me. There were hardly any glimpses of the Connor we know. Yes, I understand that his YouTube self is an overdramatized version of him, but this book just flat-out wasn't him. I think he tried too hard to show us that there is more to him than a screen. Compare this book to I Hate Myselfie by Shane Dawson. I am not comparing this in a negative way to make anyone seem better or less than the other. But in Shane's book, he was the Shane we all know and love. In conclusion, I love Connor Franta. Although he wasn't the Connor I know, he still teaches many lessons everyone could learn from; such as following your dreams, not living in a mold everyone shapes you in society, even respecting your elders.

Though I always doubt books written by content creators, this book is actually pretty good. I've watched him for a long time and it's good seeing him evolve. He doesn't go into the boring YouTube collaboration, who he watches and such crap. Franta provides secrets that many entrepreneurs use to become successful. He becomes more inspiring and personal in his book. He truly cares. But one advice is a bit cliché like following your passion. That's only one defect. Otherwise, read it. Just Frantastic.

This memoir was very relatable for me, minus the whole YouTube star bit, which was just a interesting to learn how it all began. The writing quality wasn't top notch, regardless of his "speaking style". Then again maybe I have read enough memoirs to know what I'm talking about.
