About this ebook

Abolitionista! is an innovative educational tool that responsibly educates young people about human trafficking and empowers them to protect themselves. The FBI estimates that as many as 300,000 young people are trafficked every year, and their average age is 12. The goal of this comic book is to reach children before they can be victimized, with prevention strategies that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives. Experts say that an educated child is the most practical and immediate deterrent to child sex trafficking. This comic book was carefully designed with the help of FBI victims specialists and other experts to teach children to:

(1) identify recruitment conversations,

(2) effectively deal with predators, and

(3) know who they can go to for help.
