Athena attended a Speed Dating event hoping to meet someone but unfortunately didn't find anyone. As she was leaving, she coincidentally met Briony (Brian) at the bar. Fate seemed to be playing with Athena! The story is both humorous and romantic, with lots of steam, leading to a happily ever after. I highly recommend reading it. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This story about Athena our warrior goddess and this story was highly enjoyable and entertaining to read. Athena meets Brian a nerdy librarian. (Such a clique but it works) Athena disappointed at the prospects of men in the dating event, starts to leave the Cafe when she bumps into Brian who also had a bad night. Her inner owl perks up and Athena is intrigue. What occurs was a page turning story I couldn't put down. Loved the characters, the story was well written and the romance steamy, etc.

This is one of the shorter books in this wonderful 26 book series. Don't let that make you think that it is short on plot, characters or anything else. I love these two so much and their romance was truly sweet. Athena is a true Goddess in all senses but she misses having someone to share her life with. Brian is a librarian, but for all that he is also just your average chap. Not always opposites attract or vice versa. They each just want to be loved for themselves.
