About this ebook series

"When I had seen him standing there in the doorway, part of me had wanted him to shut it behind him, walk right in with that swaggering gait of his and finish what had been started earlier..."

As an archaeologist, Amanda Carver has a decent, though maybe somewhat boring, job at a museum.
When world famous treasure hunter and adventurer Nathan Bradley, a former classmate of hers, arrives at the museum, she is forced to re-examine her old grudge and her own personal feelings towards him in light of an irresistible opportunity.

Heat - Part 2, In the Dark - Part 3, Push & Pull - Part 4, and Coming Home - Part 5 (conclusion) are also available!

WARNING: This story contains exhilaratingly sexy & graphic scenes. It is intended for mature audiences only!

Excerpt:
All three of the interns giggled as they were huddled around the staff lunch table gossiping. The entire museum had been abuzz about this man all week, ever since it was found out that he would be visiting this afternoon. All week I had to listen to the silly schoolgirl quality chatter about how handsome and charming and smart Nathan Bradley was. He was practically a celebrity in the archaeological community. Some say he represented a uniquely alternative vision of the field; an exciting and adventurous side that most get into archaeology for only to find out that it’s not really like that. He was living proof that it was possible, though, and people liked that I guess. He was most commonly touted as a real life Indiana Jones. There were many others who had taken to referring to him as Mr. Adventure. That one had always caused me to roll my eyes. I was well aware of his exploits and they were hardly worthy of the hero worship that surrounded him. He was reckless and inconsiderate. Above all, he seemed to care more about chasing the big money archeological finds than he did about preserving priceless historical artifacts. He had probably ruined or destroyed hundreds of invaluable relics just to get his hands on one archaeological piece that he could pawn off for a pretty sum. The man had no integrity. The third intern also happened to be right as well. He was very rude… and very handsome. I should know, I was in grad school with him. I had ended up in a quiet museum working as a curator and he had ended up traipsing around the world as an adventurer. Heh, adventurer. What the hell does that even mean? I’d like to see you put that down on your resume.
