The 'Helsinki Yearbook of Intellectual History' of the Helsinki Centre for Intellectual History is a forum for frontline research of intellectual history broadly construed. HYIH promotes the study of intellectual history from a range of methodological and cross-disciplinary perspectives. The University of Helsinki has a long and distinguished tradition of research in the field of intellectual history. This journal endorses the work of the intellectual historians in Helsinki as well as intellectual history in general.
