Dr. Faisal Alghayadh is a distinguished computer science and cyber security expert, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at AlMaarefa University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since January 2022. He also holds various administrative roles at the university and teaches both undergraduate and diploma courses in Computer Science and Cyber Security. Prior to his current position, Dr. Alghayadh was an Assistant Professor at Gulf Colleges in Saudi Arabia and a Teaching Assistant at both Oakland University and Lewis University in the USA. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics from Oakland University, a Master of Science in Information Security from Lewis University, and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from King Saud University. Dr. Alghayadh has contributed several notable publications in smart home security, machine learning, and cyber security. He is skilled in various programming languages, web technologies, and has an excellent analytical mind. His certifications include Computer Forensics Examiner, Leadership Certificate, and Certified Ethical Hacker.
