Floyd Merrell

After retirement from Purdue University in 2011, floyd merrell missed research and writing. His response? Write fiction. He tries. He fails. Tries again. Doesn't fail much better. But finds pleasure in what he is doing. Senses he is becoming enchanted of it. Discovers writing fiction helps him think he understands who he is and how he is becoming someone other than who he was becoming. The same goes for his characters emerging from the computer terminal revealing themselves revealing him. He finds himself thinking enchantment of the world's fictions blends with fictions paralleling the physical world. This is the mystery of fictions becoming forms of living within the world's becoming.
