HARIMURTI KRIDALAKSANA, professor of linguistics at the University of Indonesia. He has been teaching various aspects of languages and linguistics since 1961. He has published dozens of scientific monographs, and dozens of research papers. Beside teaching at his almamater, he has been working in the united states (at Stanford, Michigan, and Pittsburg), in Germany (at Goethe University, Frankfurt), in the Netherlands, in China, and in Thailand. Among his outstanding international papers as “ the Third Person in Indonesian” presented in Australia, “Lexicography in Indonesia” presented in Austria, “The Future or Regional Languages in Indonesia” presented in Quebec Canada, “On Reciprocity” presented in Japan. He was the rector (president) of Atma Jaya University, Jakarta, in 1999 - 2004, and now he is the rector of Buddhi Dharma University in Tangerang, Indonesia.
