John D. Halsted

John Halsted is a businessman who has specialised in introducing and running programs of continuous improvement, performance improvement, turnaround and recovery for organisations in New Zealand, the USA and the UK.An avid reader of historical fiction he eventually got his act together and using his family tree researched and wrote his first book on the Vikings who went East using Europe's inland waterways at their trading routes. He is currently working on the sequel to his first novel.Publishing his first book has also introduced him to the world of Publishing and in 2008, two years after publishing his book, he founded Abela Publishing. The core tennet of the company is for Abela Publishing and its authors to give a proportion of their royalties to a charity of their choice. Abela Publishing has published over 250 paperback books and almost 500 eBooks.
