Keenu Hale

Keenu Hale was born on March 19, 1992 at Blanchfield Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY. His birth was complicated with near death moments and his life was at jeopardy as he had Seizure Disorders (Grand Mal Seizure), which was undetected until he was 6 months of age. This damaged the left side of his brain. Within his first 5 years of life he was brushed with four life threatening situations. God has preserved his life for a reason as he has been given a special gift. Winning his first art contest at the age of 18 months, he always had a pen in his hand drawing on everything. Keenu is a Prodigy. At present, Keenu Hale is a Student at School of Visual Arts in New York City, New York. He has dreams of becoming an Animator. Creating various genres of cartoon styles, he currently has over 1,000 of his own characters as he hopes to give his characters purpose through his storybooks. His first book, Timmy and the Stitch Crows in Life in the Suburbs, gives readers a glimpse of his diverse talent in a very unique setting that readers can relate to.
