Kevin Malarkey

Kevin Malarkey is a Christian therapist with a counseling practice. He attended the College of Wooster and earned a graduate degree from Ohio State University. He studied psychology and family counseling. He had previously worked developing educational programs and counseling of inner city youth. His son Alex was in a serious car accident in 2004 which left him in a coma. This incident motivated the book The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven which tells the story of Alex, who at age 12 was the youngest person to ever receive the "Christopher Reeve Surgery" which allows him to breathe without a ventilator.
