L. Neil Smith

L. Neil Smith, was a three-time winner of the Prometheus award and was also awarded a special Lifetime Award by the Libertarian Futurists Society. His earlier works include the Star Wars-based trilogy of Lando Calrissian novels: LandoCalrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon, and Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of ThonBoka.His most famous novel, The Probability Broach, is an alternate history novel because a single word in the Declaration of Independence was changed. A graphic novel based on the book was released in 2004 with artwork by Scott Bieser.
