Rachele Aragno

Rachele Aragno -- Born in 1982 in Tuscany. In 2019 she published her first graphic novel, Melvina, with Bao Publishing which will then also be released in France by Dargaud, in Spain by Liana Editorial and in the United States by Random House Graphic. Also in 2020 she designed the cover variable for Young Hellboy: the hidden land by Mike Mignola (Dark Horse) and illustrated some books for Deagostini, il Castoro and Treccani. In 2021 she illustrated the children's book Elinor Puffygal published by Marinetti Junior and the New York Times included Melvina among its reading recommendations for the summer. At the end of 2021 Mel the chosen, the American Melvina, was named among the best reads for young readers by the comics committee of the ALA, the American library association. In 2022 the second book was published by Bao Publishing, Melvina and the gift of the serpent, later also published in Spain and France. In the same year, Leonide the Vampyr: Miracle at the Crow's Head and Leonide the Vampyr: A Christmas for Crows were released, a comic created together with Mike Mignola and colored by Dave Stewart. In 2023, a mini comic written by Skottie Young and drawn by her based on the world of I Hate Fairyland for Image Comics was published by Image. In 2024 she will release her one shot for Dark Horse and Disney's Star Wars High Republic. She is currently working on a new comic for Bao and another top secret one
