Roberta Iannone, PhD, is Associate Professor of General Sociology at the Department of Political Sciences of Sapienza, University of Rome, where she teaches General Sociology and Advanced Course of Sociology, and where she is also Delegate of the Rector for Merchandising. She is also Vice Director of the Quarterly Journal of Science of Administration, and her research activities focus on the analysis of social and cultural change, particularly relationships and their role in the construction of modern society. Her recent publications include Umano, ancora umano (2013); Europe and its Modernity in the Thought of Werner Sombart (2014); L’avvenire del capitalismo (2015); and Guerra e capitalismo (2015).
