Shelley Mickle

Shelley Fraser Mickle has been a commentator for Florida Public Radio since 1995 and has read many humorous essays on NPRs Morning Edition. Mickles essays also have been published in the Orlando Sentinel and in her collection, The Kids Are Gone, the Dog Is Depressed, and Moms on the Loose. She is the author of two previous novels: The Queen of October, a New York Times Notable Book, and Replacing Dad, which was made into a CBS television movie.
