Virginia Guidry

Virginia Parker Guidry is a long-time animal enthusiast, writer, and editor. A former professional small-animal groomer and veterinary assistant, she is currently a contributing editor for Dog Fancy magazine. She writes for many pet-related publications, and lives in Southern California with her husband and son. Joanne Howl, D.V.M., Your Pet's LifeTM series editor, is the president of the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association. She lives in West River, Maryland.
