Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine writes and directs this courtroom drama about a mother’s struggle against the child-welfare system. Catalina Sandino Moreno (“Maria Full of Grace”) plays Sara Diaz, a mother fighting for custody of her children after a rather innocuous accident involving her young son prompts a child-welfare inquiry.
