The ABN AMRO app is for everyone, beginners and professionals alike. Children are able to use the app, and business clients can easily use it to do lots of their banking. Thanks to the app, you can always see all your everyday banking affairs at a glance and you can bank quickly and securely, wherever you are.

Get started with ABN AMRO too. Open a personal account in the app - itā€™s a breeze! You can even open a current account in the app using your international passport in many cases. No need to go to a branch.

You can do more with the app than you may know, like:
ā€¢ log in to Internet Banking and confirm orders securely there
ā€¢ get connected immediately with the right customer service representative
ā€¢ change your personal details and settings
ā€¢ block or unblock your debit card or request a replacement
ā€¢ manage your digital debit cards
ā€¢ send a Tikkie payment request

And of course you can also:
ā€¢ do your banking right in the app and pay using iDEAL
ā€¢ view your transactions, balance and bank accounts
ā€¢ transfer money and schedule payment orders
ā€¢ get notifications about deposits, withdrawals and direct debit transactions

Doing your banking using the ABN AMRO app for the first time
If you already have a personal or business ABN AMRO current account, you can start using the app right away.

Secure banking
Once youā€™re logged in to the app, you can confirm transactions using the 5-digit ID code, and often with your fingerprint or Face ID. Be sure to keep your personal ID code secret. Just like your PIN itā€™s meant for you alone. Also only register your own fingerprint or face on your device. You can read more about secure mobile banking at abnamro.nl/veiligmb.

I enjoy this application, the only thing I would love to see changed is that certain options like the bank lock feature, etc. Does not open in the webbrowser. This has been a thing forever and it always annoys me, as I have to manually close the page everytime. Overall worth using. Especially since every update the app gets bit by bit better with more features. Also the support features are insanely well thought out. I needed to use it a couple of times and they made everything easier.

You can save an IBAN to your contacts but it doesn't save it, interesting feature that doesn't do anything... It's been like this for a very long time, I was able to save two contacts out of dozens of them, although I'm "saving" it everytime... EDIT as they answered that I can check it in profile: I mean, they didn't lie, I can CHECK it, but I can't adjust it, add anything to it, or deleted it... I'm speechless really

Recent update is horrible, being asked to increase the daily limit when scheduling a payment in the future is absolutely stupid. Also, not being able to keep a draft of a payment (like was before in "tasks") is very annoying. Increasing daily limit duration of 4 hours is also stupid. previous system with token verification was perfect. Sometimes you need to make a payment quickly.
