Missing a lot of features from Hangouts. You can't disable accounts, so always have to choose when sharing. You can't set it to open links in Chrome instead of the Chats browser, so if you want to keep a link open and return to Chats you have to find the Open in Chrome option. Doesn't have an image viewer, you can't swipe between images. For the same reason, saving an image is a long press. Altogether, half-finished. I'll be going back to Hangouts. Inconsistent with modern design.

I love Google chat, but I'm not a fan of the bubble look. I'd love it to go back to how it was before. Edit: Google chat's great still, but when it automates the commands (like for bold, italic, etc..), it adds extra work to turn it off on the format settings. It could be better if we had an option to turn off that feature

Was better in 2022. The ONLY thing I absolutely despise about the app is not being able to change the notification sound. Because the one we're stuck with is too quiet and hard to hear unless you're practically sitting on the phone. Atleast bring back original notification sound instead of the current one !!!! That's why I couldn't give app 5 ☆
