How to play the backgammon game

- Classic backgammon is a logic puzzle for two, played on a board of 24 triangles. These triangles are called points.
- Each player sits on the opposite sides of the board with 15 checkers, black or white.
- To start the backgammon game, players take turns and roll the dice. That’s why free backgammon is often called a dice game.
- In backgammon players move pieces based on the numbers rolled. For example, if you roll 2 and 5, you can move one piece 2 points and another one 5 points. Alternatively, you can move one piece 7 points.
- Once all of a player’s pieces are in his or her “home”, that player may begin removing pieces off of the board.
- A player wins the backgammon game once all of their pieces are removed from the board

- Rolling two of the same number allows you to move 4 times. For example, for a roll of 4 and 4, you can move a total of 16 points, although each piece must move 4 points at a time.
- You cannot move a piece to a point that is occupied by 2 or more of your opponent’s pieces while playing a backgammon game.

Not sure what happened but I can't seem to beat the CPU at all anymore, even on green levels. I can precisely predict that guaranteed the CPU will roll whatever is needed to fudge me up most, every single roll, every single turn. Uninstalled bc that's no way to play. Used to be a fun mix between easier and harder levels, now it's just CPU in terror mode. And no, it's not random if I can correctly predict what the CPU will roll every single turn. That's not how probability statistics work.

The ads aren't as annoying as some games, and you can play offline (with no ads). I like the daily challenges that provide different board setups more challenging than the conventional setup. But the computer player often makes dumb moves. It seems to prioritize protecting its men even when the unambiguously better strategy would be to take my man out. I win about 90% of games.

Opponent wins opening roll 80% and rarely misses hitting an open checker or getting their checkers back on the board. Game displays 'doubles' for each player at 50/50, but fails to indicate that usable 'doubles' are 90/55 for opponent. When player needs to get on the board, unusable 'doubles' come often. The graphics are beyond annoying and childish. Insult to injury, towards the end of a game, opponent makes moves to deliberately lose. A few ads are excruciatingly long, but most can be skipped.
