JBL BAR Setup

Same experience as others. App is totally useless / stuck in a loop when trying to connect. I tried connecting to the JBL Wi-Fi, even with airplane mode on ruling out network gateway issues with 5G, and nada. I'll try plugging it in via Ethernet later when I have time, and seeing if I can connect directly to the IP address it gets assigned on my LAN. Will report back if / when I find a workaround.

This app literally doesn't work, it never finds the soundbar. I had to use the "device utility" app from Google to add the soundbar to my Google home setup, and that app isn't even available for current versions of Android. The only reason I was able to set up the soundbar with Google home at all was because a friend luckily had an older android device that could install device utility.

This app is broken junk. It gets stuck in a loop trying to connect to the JBL speaker wifi and won't proceed with set-up. I bought the soundbar a year ago and couldn't get it to work then either. I just revisited it and got the same results.
