YMMV however for me the Google team earned themselves -10 points (ues, 10 out of 10 penalty points) with the recent updates to play store: surprised how they managed to complicate/destroy the user interface: filters in sub menus of sub menus for basic functionality. On the positive, this makes it so much easier to fully embrace the product of the competitors, regardless any of their shortcomings :-)

I discovered that a bug in Google Play Services is why Android Auto isn't working. It fails to connect with every attempt no matter what I do to resolve (using different cables, updating firmware, getting the very latest upscale phone model). Apple CarPlay works just fine, on the other hand. This issue has been going on since Android Auto was released and there still isn't a fix issued.

Too large. Too many permissions ="no permission denied". I would never agree to that. In the Play store this app has a 'uninstall' button that does nothing. You're asking us to believe that this app is a vault w/ a guard. Seems to me that anybody can hire the guard & set the combination. This app seems to have total omniscient over every single aspect of my device. Regardless of my implied control. I never want to see "without notification" or "without concent" ...Unnerving. At best!
