Already great. But could use some quality of life improvements. There are a few things bothering me currently. Those are: seemingly not able to mute directions. Clicking the "locate" button in the bottom left corner will zoom all the way out for no reason. I would like this button to zoom to my current location, and follow my current location just like Google Maps on Android. And third, typing in a restaurant's name for example should bring up nearby results instead of from current viewpoint.

Map icons are inconsistent in showing up, even show up in incorrect locations. Road closures aren't always shown, when they are there, the navi would still pick the path through a closed road. Navi wise it doesn't show upcoming stops, so it's just like goog maps. Within android auto, when you switch between magic earth and goog maps (when both apps have an active navigation), magic earth stops the navigation (why?). There's no auto zoom at intersections, zooming is a bit clunky.

Has potential. I like the navigation/driving view and that it uses this view even without destination. The reason I'm not using it is because the location on the map is seconds delayed compared to the actual location which means when the map shows I'm at the turn/exit I've already passed that turn/exit. No other nav app that I've tried has this problem.
