For the audiobooks I do like the option for sleep timer in the audiobook section. Unfortunately I have already two books that didn't want to fully download. And no option to stop the download or recent it. For the eBooks, I like that it syncronices with the reader. And that I can read on two devices.

Download function for audiobooks completely stopped working. Lots of other users seem to experience the same problem but all kobo does is refer them to their facebook support team instead of actually fixing the bug. Ebooks work fine. But overall the app feels like it was designed as an afterthought. It even includes ads for the kobo ebooks app... and im talking embedded links that refer you, in app, to the playstore page where you can download the very app youre already using.

Highlighting parts of the text works poorly. Often text selection fails or the highlight is not saved. Flipping pages is also a poor experience as I often get the same page after going to the next page. Sometimes it even skips a page! Maybe these issues are related to the book I'm reading now but one would expect the quality of each Kobo book, bought in the store, behaves the same.

We've heard your feedback and made some important updates. The screen-orientation lock setting has been added back, and the navigation bar will now hide while you're reading for a cleaner look. We've also adjusted the text contrast in Dark Mode to enhance readability. Thank you for helping us improve!
