The updated app STINKS and is basically worthless! The timeline feature is now too big to use, I can only see half my phone screen while trying to use it which makes the whole point of using the app a waste of time. The old timeline view was excellent, I don't understand why they messed with it. They should have made improvements to that view (i.e., being able to reverse and forward easily), instead they made an entirely new view which doesn't make any sense. Looking for a new camera system.

Terrible app, extremely hard to export video, cant even playback what I need. From what I'm reading online, the only way to save/export footage is by connecting a monitor, mouse, keyboard and USB to the device. This is absolutely ridiculous considering the amount of bloat they include in their phone and web apps. There is FTP, but only for recording files live, not retrieving saved files. There is no network file access. This company needs to figure it out. This shouldn't be that hard.

Hello Kyle, You can use download feature in the app or press Record to save the footage you need. The recordings will appear in Apps Settings - Snapshots and Recordings, and from that menu, you will be able to export the file. If you have any questions, please reach out to tech support for assistance.

January 2024 notifications with thumbnails enabled. Still not working properly. Often received generic Lorex image and not a thumbnail of the video taking place. December 2024 No dark mode. Some notifications to the phone contain an actual thumbnail of the video. Many contain just a generic lorex image that's not at all helpful. They've made it harder to submit feedback for apps and devices within the app. Not at all convenient anymore.
