Dusty Rose's new caretaker, gallery owner Madeline Jansen, can't shake the feeling her new home isn't really hers. She's haunted by Rose, beautiful, tragic, and full of revenge. An ability Madeline had since she was a child, turns her into a psychic medium for the angry spirit.
Haunted by memories, a handsome stranger returns to the town he left behind. His unexpected encounter with Madeline stirs memories of someone he once knew. When he finds out she's moved to his old address, he's deeply disturbed. Ever since his wife, Rose, was murdered in the home they named 'Dusty Rose', Dustin McCormick has been trying to figure out what really happened.
Returning to Cascade City, a resort town on the Lake Michigan coast, Dustin is looking for answers. It isn't easy, because many in town are suspicious of him. Despite his alibi, some think he planned his wife's murder. When newcomer, Madeline Jansen moves into Dusty Rose, old wounds are reopened. No matter how painful it is, Dustin must take a chance
Because of Dusty Rose, and a lost spirit, Dustin McCormick and Madeline Jansen meet in a surprise turn of events. Rose's ghost is using Madeline to settle a score. Will Rose's fury consume Madeline in the process? Will the ghost possessing Madeline lead them to the truth? Dusty Rose holds the key to the truth, but will she reveal all, or leave Dustin and Madeline damaged beyond repair?

I’ve lived in Michigan for much of my life, but in the 1980’s, my family took to the road looking for opportunity. I’ve called Washington and Florida my home on the road, and the places and people I encountered left an impression on me.
I’ve been an avid reader since I was a child, before the internet, and certainly before smartphones. Alone with my imagination, I aspired to be an author. I wanted to make others feel the way I did when I read a story like Alice in Wonderland.
Fast forward to today, and I’m an artist, graphic designer, and publisher – all rolled into one person. I’m most comfortable being an author because I can incorporate all the things I love.
I settled in Northern Michigan a few years ago. I have an appreciation for the Great Lakes region, and I love rock hunting. You might see me on the shores of Lake Huron, searching for fossils and agates.
