About this audiobook

Set off a magical adventure with the first book in Enid Blyton's classic fantasy series about a chair that can fly and grant wishes! Perfect for children aged 5 and up.

When Mollie and Peter go to buy their mother a birthday present, they discover the most extraordinary thing: a magical wishing-chair! The Wishing-Chair takes them on some wonderful adventures - to a giant's castle to rescue a new pixie friend, to the Land of Dreams, and even to a disappearing island! Who knows what might happen next?

First published in 1937, this recording is based on the classic text, except that the pixie character's name has been changed to Binky.

I think this book is good because I love the expression of the reader when someone talks she puts expression in and makes it sound real I hope there will be more audiobooks of Enid Blyton

These were a childhood favourite of mine. Having read my boys The Enchanted Wood I bought this for them to listen too. My eldest in particular loves this story and they've listened through it twice so far. Along with their normal stories they get 2 chapters. The narration is excellent too.
