These were my absolute favourite stories as a child and still remember my mum reading them too me over 30 years later. I had already read my children the first book a couple of times which they have enjoyed and they've loves listening to The Wishing Chair as well. So far they are enjoying listening to this but despite a fairly well known actress narrating it, her narration isn't as good as the girl who narrates The Wishing Chair. I'm not going to get in to the name change debate, it was weird at first but my children have never heard the stories with the original names so it's meaningless for them.
