I've been looking forward to Peter and Carrie's story after reding book 1 in the series, I could just tell that they were made for each other. They've been best friends through school, but both wanted different things in life, Peter wanted away from Ardor Creek as his home life was awful and Carrie was to stay in the town she loved and raise a family. The timing wasnt quie right for these two when they were younger but neither could really see the others point of view.

This is the second story in the "Arbor Creek" series. It is a stand alone read in the small town series. It is heartwarming story about Peter and Carrie. It is a second chance after the ups and downs life can dish out. I was captivated in the story and really like the characters. They both have baggage in this emotional story that is sweet, fun and special.

I loved listening to this story. I loved seeing how it developed. Peter worked on getting himself back. Carrie is a strong female character which I liked a lot. The narration which is duet is like always on point by these narrators. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
