In a world of virtual reality and high-tech intrigue, a chance meeting brings together two young people who seem to have nothing in common, but are lost. Passionate art students Rebecca and Hiro, a talented parkour and medical student dropout, are drawn to each other by their shared physicality and a common interest in Nexus, a popular virtual reality game that has become their playground. But when Hiro becomes embroiled in the dangerous underworld of Nexus and is left for dead, Rebecca is forced to confront the reality of their relationship and her own feelings for him. Together they navigate the treacherous waters of love, loss and redemption, discovering that sometimes the greatest adventures can be found in the most unexpected places.
