Now, Again

Prince Aric grew up isolated in a royal hunting lodge in the mountains, his father died in a chariot accident and the king's brother took over as regent until Aric came of age to fulfil his destiny as king. His mother was separated from Arik to another part of the kingdom and the borders were closed for fear that their lives were in danger of invasion. Now not yet 21, in anticipation of his return to the palace, he is confused by rumours of magical chocolate roses appearing in the garden, which, of course, cannot be imported while the borders are closed. A fairy tale about a prince, a witch and magic.
