The story is good. Narrative comes across a little flat. Multiple times I just wanted to not finish it because it was entirely too long and drawn out. I like descriptions, but there was entirely too much of it. The last bit of it however, was how the whole book should have went. That was the only reason I finished it. I knew early on what was going on, but it did try to trick you into another thought. All-in-all, it wasn't terrible. The plot was fairly ingenious, but the delivery was way too drawn out.

I feel bad to give such a horrible review... but my God, I had to grimace through this book. It felt like it was written by a highschooler. It repeats things that are common sense, or things that we already knew. In one chapter, it says "memorial service" at LEAST 5 times within a few sentences. The narrator was also very bland.

this book is read as if the reader is just trying to get through it. I use audiobook to connect and feel the experience while I listen. that is not the case here. from the description I am sure this is a great book but I cant listen anymore. it's way to fast with no feeling.
