Moonshine springs - is a touching short story by the famous Russian writer, playwright and theatrical personage Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov (1891 - 1940). 

Bulgakov repeatedly described the famous apartment No. 50 in his writings, but he spoke as vividly as he did in Moonshine Lake for the first time. Some episodes from the life of the apartment are recorded in his diary. October 29, 1923: “Today was flooded for the first time. I spent the whole evening plastering windows. The first furnace was marked by the fact that the famous Annushka left the window in the kitchen wide open for the night. I positively don’t know what to do with the bastard that inhabits this apartment ...."
