A Shift in the Earth: A Werewolf Shifter Romance

This is the third book in the Elemental Shifters Series, a Paranormal Romance. You have to listen to this Series in order. Farren and Eli's story story is well written, and captivating. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. The storyline is enthralling, and intricate, filled with mystery, and suspense. The supporting characters are great. I loved to see again the characters from the first books in the Series. Richard Sawyer and Sophie Daniels did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Now, I am looking forward to listen to A Shift in Fire, the last book in the series. If you like Paranormal Romance, this Series is for you.

Each story seems to draw me in even more as the characters work to solve the mysteries and uncover more and more secrets in a race to save their mates and found families, with the stakes building. Farren is blindsided as mysterious powers send her mate Eli to her doorstep. As the two deal with the undeniable mating force, they also face danger upon danger as action and edge of your seat suspense plays out. Narrators do an awesome job bringing the story to life.

While I enjoyed A Shift in the Earth when it was first released, I loved revisiting it in audiobook form. Narrated by Sophie Daniels as fierce alpha female Farren and Richard Sawyer as her mate Eli, the third book in the Elemental Shifter series made for a fantastic backdrop to this week's workload. Their abilities to differentiate between the various characters without missing a beat or confusing the listener is amazing, especially with the number of varying accents throughout. They truly brought the action to life, and further convince me that the narrators that Patricia Eddy chooses for her books are the absolute gold standard in audiobooks, no question. The story itself is filled with plenty of action, steam and an ongoing plot that's carried through from the first two books. It's a captivating story of magic and family that I'd highly recommend to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance.
